The company comprises businesses across a range of media, including: news and information services, book publishing, digital real estate services, cable network programming in Australia and pay-TV distribution in Australia.About the team:The Workforce Insights Manager is a key member of a team providing excellent HR customer service to Senior Leaders and C-Suite Executives across the News Corp network. The Workforce Insights team collaborates with the business to uncover data-driven insights to solve business challenges across the talent lifecycle and enable transformational change. This team will address key business questions and employ best practices in data visualization to provide actionable insights that support Workforce strategies and priorities.About the role:As the Workforce Insights Manager, you will be responsible for:

Leading a team of visualization experts to design and pilot visualizations/dashboards for data from multiple systems.
Managing the design of multiple visualizations using a variety of tools and data sources across the whole team.
Advising and understanding internal stakeholders' objectives and develop appropriate data visualizations / dashboards that provide them with meaningful insights to achieve their objectives.
Interacting with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, assess complexity and define timelines, work on multiple projects at the same time.
Understanding the data flow and interfacing systems in order to build automated solutions for minimum human intervention for analytics needs.
Ensuring quality deliverables through proper data extraction, data cleanup and employ data visualization best practices.
Looking at requirements and existing dashboards holistically to suggest more integrated solutions.
Staying up-to-date on latest advancements in visualization of data.
Setting day-to-day operational objectives for the team and managing delivery to ensure achievement of operational results.
Developing & training Analysts
Ensuring policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders
Driving SLA & KPI adherence / utilization
Assisting in designing & implementing new initiatives & strategies (1-3 yrs)
Fostering team engagement and collaboration
Managing escalations, including raising to Sr. Leadership when applicable
Communicating effectively to executive team
Partnering with PMs to manage projects or processes impacting the function
Serving as a SME on projects managed by partner functions

Qualifications:

Minimum undergraduate degree required.
Minimum of 7-10 years applied experience in workforce analytics, research, data science and dashboard development.
Experience working with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Prism, etc.
Understanding of basic statistical concepts like correlation and standard deviation in order to provide additional deep dive information in reporting solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail to deliver impeccable accuracy and quality
Deep understanding across all HR specialties
Proven track record of building professional relationships
Thorough understanding of different roles and responsibilities within the HR function
Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service skills including active listening and translating client needs.
Time management skills and ability to stay organized
Ability to prioritize and have discernment to know when to properly escalate and get feedback

Ability to build cohesive teams and coach & develop employees
Experience leading contingent or temporary workers
Experience working with contemporary HR Technology platforms is preferred (e.g. Workday, ServiceNow)
