Salaried employees are paid a predetermined set amount of compensation for each pay period. A salaried employee is paid to perform a certain job or job duties and are exempt to overtime and a set schedule. Salaried employees may be required to work more than 5 days a week or 8 hours a day depending on the current needs of the job. The company will provide a laptop for remote work.Summary/ObjectiveThe 2nd Shift Contract Manager at BNA is responsible for the operations and management of all 2nd shift employees for PBMC at BNA.The 2nd Shift Contract Manager at BNA also plays an important role to ensure the management team operates as a smooth and cohesive unit as the secondary Signatory for PMBC at BNA. As the secondary signatory, the 2nd shift Contract Manager will step in to perform the signatory duties and responsibilities when the primary is on PTO, sick or otherwise unavailable or on an as needed basis as directed by the Operations Manager.Management Responsibilities* Establish and maintain open lines of communication with customer, partners, and operations manager.* Communicate with contract managers, administrative manager, and partners on other shifts daily to ensure all customer needs are being met.* Conduct daily inspections with supervisor and submit it to the project/operations manager.* Conduct weekly inspections with partners and submit it to the project/operations manager.* Ensure proper use of supplies and equipment through the training and development of supervisors and employees.* Be able to operate all types of cleaning machinery and equipment.* Recruit, interview, hire, orientates employees.* Assist employees with onboarding paperwork, ensure its accuracy, and complete the onboarding process in a timely manner.* Adhere to company guidelines for discipline and termination procedures.* Have working knowledge of budgets and contract specifications of account.* Submit supply requests to the project manager.* May assist in training of management trainees.* Be readily available 24/7 to operational needs.* Set up files for each employee with necessary forms and paperwork.* Maintain and submit operational paperwork and customer quality assurance sheets daily/weekly/monthly.* Know correct procedure for extra billing orders.* Approve time sheets on time (daily) and accurately.* Have working knowledge of budget analysis, labor distribution, field reports, and other pertinent records.* Delegate work to supervisors and employees in a fair and consistent manner.* Handle all assignments as designated by operations/project manager.Signatory Responsibilities* Secondary Signatory for Premiere's contract with BNA for all shifts.* Have a working knowledge of all Signatory duties.* Provide all employees with the information they need to communicate with the Identification office staff when they arrive to apply or to renew their badges.* Provide all applicants with the necessary forms and ensure that the two ID's they are bringing to the Identification office are appropriate for the individual and in accordance with the I-9 form.* Ensure all information completed on the forms is accurate. Once all information has been verified and cross referenced with the two IDs, the Authorized Signatory may then fill out the company information and Authorized Signatory certification at the bottom of the forms.* Ensure that all applicants know how the badging fees are to be paid and to whom they are to be billed, if applicable.* Instruct new applicants on how to follow up with the Identification Office regarding their badge status. The applicant, or Authorized Signatory with the company, are the only ones that may check the status of the background check and the security threat assessment. Typically, it takes 5-10 business days to receive approvals. Once the results have been received, they are only valid for 30 days.* If it has been determined that a badge is no longer needed, the Authorized Signatory must immediately call to deactivate the badge and return the badge within 24 hours to the Identification Office. A Termination form must be completed and submitted by the Authorized Signatory for all returned badges.* When a badge has been lost or stolen, you must notify the Identification office or the Airport Coordination Center (ACC) immediately.* All requested badge audits must be completed by the deadline date given.* Additional duties may be requested and required of you. It is your responsibility to comply with all request as long as they are ethical, legal, and do not violate company policies.Supervisor ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing all 2nd shift employees and overseeing 2nd shift janitorial operations.Work EnvironmentIndoors, environment controlled, some outdoors, and some office work.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkFull-time. 2nd shift (- 1 PM to 10 PM), Monday through Friday.
