The Director, Strategy Deployment, is responsible for the end-to-end management and governance of all programs in the Enterprise Strategy Office portfolio. In this role, the Director, Strategy Deployment, will partner with key leaders to ensure the successful overall delivery of the projects necessary to drive Bridgestone Americas short and long-term business results. He or she will engage with senior leaders of organization and help resource through his/her team to define, prioritize, and cultivate projects that meet strategic and operational business goals and define E2E process management. The Director, Strategy Deployment, reports to the Chief of Staff and Vice President, Strategy Deployment, and must demonstrate high level business understanding, strong leadership and executive presence as well as an understanding of organizational dynamics necessary to deliver large-scale and complex programs. These may include multi-year transformation programs, business portfolio rationalization, M&A integrations or divestitures and first-to-market, multi-business partner innovations, among others. At any given time, the programs in the enterprise portfolio may be valued in the multi-billion dollar range and include 8-12 (or more) concurrent enterprise programs. Responsibilities

• Holistic end-to-end management of programs in the Enterprise Strategy Office portfolio, including intake, business case support, resourcing and other stage gate milestones
• Rationalizes, modernizes and consolidates portfolio strategy while simplifying and governing the E2E program delivery process (stage gates and tool)
• Defines, tracks and manages SDO accountability aligned to business, functions and the enterprise (KPI reporting)
• Enables the execution of business-critical projects and create a culture centered on the achievement of business results, accountability and flawless execution through portfolio management
• Ensures operational oversight, risk mitigation, governance and compliance
• Liaisons with senior executive business and functional leaders as needed
• Helps facilitate strategic SDO planning and prioritization on behalf of the organization, aligning to the company's strategy
• Authority to raise visibility for any program that does not match the organization's strategy
• Ensures success of mission critical project support, escalations, solution approach and recommendations
• Defines, standardizes and implements corporate templates for reporting and project management, updating for continuous improvement
• Develops and maintains global, strategic relationships and alliances with other global leaders throughout organization as needed on cross-functional programs
• Provides senior leaders with true operational insight through meaningful milestones and objectives reporting for critical strategic initiatives and communicate progress
• Identifies interdependencies and opportunities between different work modules across business units and functions
• Serves as a senior leader within the Strategy Deployment team
• Manages, coaches and develops direct team of three (3) project managers, indirect cross-functional team members (50+) and/or third-party contractors assigned to work on key initiatives, ensuring the right people are in the right roles with the appropriate skills to be successful
• Drives the organization forward The successful candidate will possess 10+ years of successful strategic business projects and programs, organizational effectiveness interventions, post-merger integration programs, international business experience, and progressive leadership experience with an emphasis on leading, developing, and deploying project management execution for complex projects generating quantifiable benefits for the business.
