Main Purpose: This position is responsible for planning, engineering, supporting and implementing the migration of an existing infrastructure to a cloud virtualized environment. This includes all aspects of the VM creation and management process in a cloud environment, and includes functioning, upgrading, troubleshooting, configuration monitoring, and business continuity. This position will also be responsible for researching new technology related to cloud virtualization and assessing their impact on the infrastructure. We're looking for a responsive, highly productive professional who can work with a variety of IT colleagues and vendors to ensure continued performance and availability Core Accountabilities: * Actively participate in the design and architectural decisions for a Hybrid cloud environment, Hyper- converged solutions. * Integrate cloud operations with legacy processes, with an understanding and application of new cloud principals to the environment * Build cloud computing services using AWS (or similar cloud platform), including server management, Networking in a Hybrid environment, application gateways, load balancing and monitoring. * Craft and develop AWS Cloud solutions, translating business requirements into scalable, flexible and secure cloud solutions. * PowerShell scripting and task automation * Participate in infrastructure management, remediation, and auditing processes that meet the PCI Data Security Standard. * Perform virtualized infrastructure capacity planning, deploy production builds and perform smoke tests * Enable resilience and high availability on numerous platforms, from cloud based applications to on premise legacy environments. * Develop usage standards, user self-service designs and reporting standards * Ensure standard IT preventative maintenance/management functions are taking place in alignment with enterprise procedures and standards * Provide remote assistance as needed to personnel who are outside of primary work location * Develop, publish and adhere to standards, policies and procedures * Provide on-site and remote support; emergency on-call support as needed * Assist with managing maintenance agreements, and maintain consistent device configurations, accurate device asset inventories, and up-to-date system diagrams and documentation. * Working in a highly team-oriented global team environment, assist the Infrastructure Engineers in developing standard operational processes to support the management of CPI data centers, server & storage environment and global customer voice/data network infrastructures. * Share 7x24 rotational responsibilities for On-Call support. * Follow, support, and promote ongoing improvement of project methodologies, change management, security, and other CPI corporate and Infrastructure team policies. * Participate in and support team-oriented approaches to problem solving, system development, and operations. * Work with the Security and Audit teams regarding ITGCs and risk mitigation. Experience and Skills: * Four-year degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. * 6-8 years of experience required in the following areas o AWS or similar Cloud environment o Windows Server 2008R2-2012 R2 support o Microsoft Active Directory o Windows infrastructure services such as GPO, DFS, File/Print, DNS, WINS, replication, certificate services, ADFS. o Industry standard monitoring tools (i.e Nagios, Solar Winds) o PowerShell Scripting/task automation experience o On Premise Storage Arrays, fabric configurations, SAN, NAS. * 3-5 years' experience in the areas of o VMWare ESX Enterprise, vSphere, vCenter o Unix/Linux o Automation deployment and configuration tools (i.e. Chef or Puppet) o Delivering scalable and automated services and architecture- Infrastructure as Code o Design and implement solutions with AWS Virtual Private Cloud, Elastic Computer Cloud (EC2), AWS Cloudfront and other AWS products o Hyper Converged, VSAN or Similar product offerings * A working understanding of LAN/WAN concepts required, * Experience managing/supporting systems remotely and in a highly secure environment * 3+ years of experience working within an ITIL based structure (Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, etc.) * Strong documentation skills, and experience with technology asset management processes is required * Experience with supporting remote office environments will be helpful * An established history of delivering great customer service * Experience as a proactive problem solver who can identify and execute both the immediate and long-term tasks needed for resolution * Resourceful in establishing and nurturing key relationships across the IT, Operations, Sales and Corporate teams * Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with stringent deadlines * Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel. * Must have excellent customer service skills and thrive in a team environment. * Highly motivated self-starter who is innovative and quick to learn. * Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure and stressful situations. * Possesses strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills, and is detail-oriented. * Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills. * Strong documentation skills.SDL2017
