is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our
clients with timely engineering support and expertise. We are
seeking an experienced candidate to become an integral part of our
engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an
experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering
tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our
customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility near
Nashville, TN. This is a full-time position with a full benefit

within our own organization. Electrical Engineer - Power
Distribution As an Electrical Engineer you will support the design
and development of power distribution systems for Battery Energy
Storage Systems (BESS) and related renewable energy components.
This position will focus on delivering designs that balance safety,
performance, cost, and long-term sustainability. Responsibilities:
Perform electrical engineering calculations for photovoltaic and
BESS power distribution systems. Develop, review, and approve
electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness designs in
accordance with project requirements. Conduct advanced analysis of
AC and DC distribution networks for both low- and medium-voltage
applications. Write, execute, and refine test procedures to
validate system integration against functional requirements.
Support prototype build and test activities, including
troubleshooting and system updates. Provide cost estimates and
analysis for new product proposals. Assist team members with design
reviews, mentoring, and technical support. Identify and lead
opportunities for process and product improvements. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
experience (minimum 3 years in solar or energy storage). Knowledge
of applicable electrical codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA
70E, UL, CSA, and IEEE. Strong understanding of AC (single- and
three-phase) and DC power systems. Experience with schematic
capture tools such as Altium, P-CAD, or PADS. Proficiency with CAD
platforms (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for system and layout development.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with
Microsoft Office 365 for reporting and documentation. Ability to
work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to travel
occasionally for project support. Desired Skills and Attributes:
Background in renewable energy and off-grid power systems design
and analysis. Experience with arc flash studies and coordination
surveys. Ability to provide cost analysis and support quoting for
new products. Practical problem-solving mindset with initiative for
continuous improvement. Strong collaboration and mentoring skills;
comfortable supporting design reviews and technical discussions.
Detail-oriented with the ability to balance safety, performance,
and cost considerations in system design. Visa sponsorship is NOT
available for this position. Pay Range: $75,000-$130,000 –
