Details Job Details: We are currently seeking a dynamic and
experienced EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Manager to join
our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is a permanent
position, offering the opportunity to work within a fast-paced,
innovative environment where your contributions will have a direct
impact on the safety and wellbeing of our staff and the
environment. The EHS Manager will be responsible for developing,
implementing, and overseeing the company's health, safety, and
environmental programs. This includes ensuring compliance with all
local, state, and federal regulations and standards. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in risk assessment,
occupational health, environmental compliance, emergency
management, industrial safety, environmental auditing, workplace
safety, safety training, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities: 1. Develop, implement, and manage the company’s
environmental, health, and safety programs. 2. Conduct regular risk
assessments and implement preventative measures to reduce potential
hazards. 3. Ensure company-wide compliance with all relevant local,
state, and federal health and safety regulations. 4. Develop and
deliver safety training programs to educate employees about
potential risks and safety protocols. 5. Lead emergency response
efforts and develop emergency management plans. 6. Conduct regular
environmental audits to ensure adherence to environmental
compliance standards. 7. Implement industrial safety measures to
protect employees from potential workplace hazards. 8. Monitor and
report on EHS performance, providing recommendations for
improvements. 9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with
regulatory bodies. 10. Continually stay up-to-date with the latest
EHS regulations and best practices. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s
degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or related
field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role within
the Manufacturing industry. 3. Extensive knowledge of EHS
regulations and standards. 4. Proven experience in risk assessment,
occupational health, environmental compliance, emergency
management, industrial safety, environmental auditing, workplace
safety, safety training, and regulatory compliance. 5. Strong
leadership and team management skills. 6. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. 7. Ability to develop and deliver
effective safety training programs. 8. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills. 9. Proficiency in using EHS management
software. 10. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified
Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification is preferred. This is an
