Below are the key principles we stand by.Cover and Move (Teamwork and Support): We seek candidates who thrive in a collaborative environment, supporting their team to achieve shared goals and overcome challenges together.Simple (Clarity and Communication): Candidates should value clear, straightforward communication, ensuring everyone understands their role to maintain efficiency and avoid confusion.Prioritize and Execute (Efficiency and Focus): We look for individuals who can prioritize tasks effectively, focusing on the most critical issues to make the best use of time and resources.Decentralized Command (Empowerment and Trust): Ideal candidates take ownership of their responsibilities, make informed decisions independently, and align their efforts with the company's mission while fostering innovation and accountability.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Discusses systems malfunctions with customers and then visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.Dismantles unit to gain access to problem area.Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.Removes and replaces worn, defective parts.Realigns couplings, components and/or shafts.Measures, cuts, thread, and installs pipe.Repair broken parts and be able to set up and operate metalworking tools such as drill press, or grinder, to make repairs.Starts equipment and adjusts controls to settings recommended by manufacturer to test operation following repair.Discuss system operation with customer to verify that malfunctions have been corrected.Drives service van daily to customer site and ensures that the vehicle is maintained and serviced on schedule.Discusses issues, recommendations and follows up with customersFollows policies and procedures including safe work practicesPerforms other duties as assigned.RR REQUIREMENTS:HS Diploma or equivalentMechanical aptitude is requiredMinimum of 3 years related experience (Mechanic or Diesel Engine Mechanic experience would be considered)Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skillsFlexibility in work schedule is requiredSuperior analytical and problem-solving skillsMust be able to work with minimal supervisionAbility to become DOT certified and maintain certification Above average computer skills to include working knowledge of MS WORD and ExcelAbility to lift minimum of 70 lbs.Bending, stooping, twisting, and standing for long periods of time will be requiredPosition is subject to various climate conditionsBasic electrical knowledge BENEFITS:401(k) Retirement plan401(k) Company MatchingHealth, Dental and Vision insuranceCompany paid life Insurance, short/long term disability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountPaid time offParental leaveNine paid holidaysIt is Atlas' Policy to employ qualified people to perform the many tasks necessary in operating our Company.
