The Job
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be part of our Engineering team working as an onsite employee. You'll get to:



  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by using Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing Tools, applying knowledge of product design, manufacturing, tooling, materials and soliciting observations from operators.


  • Recommends improvement changes in current production methods, standards, tooling, procedures, equipment, plant layout, product design, and employee output as a basis for improving safety, quality and morale, increasing production and reducing cost.


  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.


  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and process capabilities, establishing standards


  • Specify and procure new fixtures, equipment and tooling needed to meet production and quality requirements


  • Develop and maintain shop methods standard work and procedures.

    • BS in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.


    • At least 3-5 years related experience in manufacturing and engineering processes.


    • Experience working with sheet metal processing preferred


    • Knowledge of CAD (prefer Pro-E) and CAM programs


    • Experience with PLC a plus


    • Experience with SAP a plus.


    • Training in Lean Six Sigma and other continuous process improvement initiatives
