Desktop Support EngineerContract Start Date: ASAP
Job Summary: This position is responsible for performing tasks to aid in the ongoing Tier 1 support of the end-user environment and assisting in the training/on-boarding of new and existing team members.
Responsibilities:

• Assist in training/on-boarding of new and ongoing processes and procedures to new and existing team members.
• Identify and make recommendations on additional support tasks that can be on-boarded to the team to increase business efficiency.
• Create knowledge base to ensure articles are available and up-to-date with the latest approved support procedures.
• Triage support issues and approve appropriate escalation to Tier 2 and Tier 3 internal support teams or vendor support.
• Work incidents and service requests via ticket system, emails, and telephone calls to address customer issues.
• Provide support in maintenance and installation of computers and associated hardware.
• Provide support for network, telecommunications, security and enterprise applications.
• Follow-up on escalated service calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide support for meeting room equipment, MFD printers, desktop printers, and peripherals.
• Maintain accurate meeting room equipment inventory records and manage inventory.
  Qualifications:

• Experience: 2 - 5 years technical work experience and advanced knowledge of software and peripheral installation and hardware troubleshooting.
• Education: 2 year college diploma or university degree in computer-related discipline.
• Professional Certifications: A+ or Network+ required.
