The Rural Mail Carrier Associate is responsible for delivering postal mail to rural and suburban areas. This role ensures timely and accurate mail delivery while providing excellent customer service to individuals and businesses on the route. This position is a part-time or intermittent opportunity within the United States Postal Service. Sort and prepare mail for delivery along assigned routes Deliver mail to homes and businesses in rural areas using a postal vehicle Collect outgoing mail and packages from designated locations Operate postal vehicles and adhere to all safety procedures Maintain records of deliveries and report any issues to supervisors Provide courteous and efficient service to customers Handle inquiries and provide assistance regarding postal services to customers Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic understanding of mapping and route navigation Excellent customer service skills Time management and organizational abilities Basic mathematical skills for handling cash transactions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
