Job Description:
Lee Company is seeking a skilled Welder and Pipefitter to join
our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work on
diverse projects in the construction and maintenance of residential
and commercial facilities, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, and
electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in welding and fitting, a commitment to safety, and a
passion for providing high-quality solutions to meet the various
needs of our esteemed clients. Reading and interpreting blueprints
and drawings to understand project requirements. Cutting,
threading, and hammering pipes according to specifications, using
tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, and pipe
benders. Assembling and installing piping for water, steam, and
other liquids. Performing precision welding tasks in various
positions (flat, horizontal, or vertical). Inspecting and testing
installed pipe systems and pipelines for faults and adherence to
specifications. Maintaining safety standards in all aspects of work
and adhering to all regulatory compliance. Collaborating with other
team members and project managers to ensure timely and quality
completion of work. Proficient in various types of welding
techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) Expertise in pipefitting for
various applications and materials. Ability to read and follow
blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with tools and
equipment used in cutting, threading, and welding. Strong attention
to detail and precision in workmanship. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Welder
(CW) from the American Welding Society (AWS) preferred.
Certification or coursework in pipefitting is highly
beneficial.
