Brightland Homes, LTD. is currently seeking an entry level Land Project Manager to oversee the construction plan preparation and approval processes. The company offers numerous options to help its employees achieve their financial, professional, and wellness goals including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance options Paid time off Company-provided life insurance policy 401(k) plan and match Gym membership reimbursement Career development and opportunities for advancement Charitable activities and more General Duties and Responsibilities Oversee administrative functions including distribution of tasks, scheduling meetings, and managing operational reports Prepare, review, and archive essential documents, including operational, legal, and project-related paperwork Support land team in obtaining permits, approvals, and handling project documentation Monitor project progress, including utility management, bond exoneration, and track project schedules and budgets Provide support for special projects as assigned by department heads or other managers Research maps, topographical data, soil information, community review procedures, political considerations, availability and capacity of utilities, and other information Review and approve all billing invoices related to the site investigation and evaluation process File site engineering plans with the utilities, complete applications, and provide necessary documentation as required Serve as liaison between utility companies, community departments, and the company Schedule pre-engineering meetings and special meetings as needed during the overall review and preparation of service plan progress Obtain storm, sewer, and water approvals from the municipality during site engineering approval and follow their submission through county, city, and state approval and permit issuance Attend pre-construction meetings for site development and underground construction Review and inspect lots under development by third parties Review and inspect lots that have had substantial completion triggered in purchase contracts Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Skilled in negotiation techniques Strong verbal and written communication skills Outstanding organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and follow through ability Able to develop and maintain positive and cooperative work relationships Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Work, and Excel Readily adaptable to rapid change in a high stress environment while remaining clam and effective Excellent record of attendance and punctuality Able to work a flexible schedule that may require more than 40 hours of work per week At Brightland Homes, LTD. employment opportunity is based upon personal capabilities and qualifications without regard to race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, ancestry, national origin, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic as established by law.
