Accountant (Book Publishing)Turner Publishing is looking for a driven individual to work in our accounting and rights department. This role works alongside the CFO to assist in the daily tasks of the department.Tasks include monthly royalty reporting and payments; coordination and payment processing for direct book orders; organization and maintenance of rights files in our Google Drive; communication with rights agents (audio rights, film & tv rights; foreign rights).This role is in-person in Nashville, TN.Compensation:$40,000 - $45,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Monthly royalty statement reporting and paymentCoordination of direct orders (author and bulk)General accounting admin. tasks as neededMaintenance and organization of rights files (Google Drive)Communication with rights agents (audiobook, film & tv, foreign rights) to assist in the sale of rightsQualifications:Strong organizational and communication skills1-2 years of administrative experienceAccounting education/experience a plusLegal education/experience a plusAbout CompanyTurner Publishing Company LLC is an independent book publisher with a growth mindset and a passion for empowering its employees.
