The Opportunity

TechnologyAdvice is looking for an experienced product marketer and writer to clearly convey the story of our products and their benefits. This role will be responsible for developing product messaging strategy across all channels and persona, as well as marketing plans for new product launches. You will align with Product team initiatives, focusing on creating product power users and understanding the reporting needs of customers.

The ideal candidate should have a background in B2B marketing and samples of high-quality content for technology products and features. This role will directly contribute to our competitive strategy, sales enablement, and customer marketing. You will report to the Head of Demand Generation.

How You'll Contribute

  • Align with Product and Sales teams on crafting, executing, and tracking go-to-market messaging and positioning for product features, focusing on integrations and reporting strategy
  • Write content to educate internal and external stakeholders on product features and benefits
  • Write content to create demand for products
  • Create content to convey the benefits of our products to various audiences in sales enablement and other documents, product videos, blog posts, email campaigns, and the website
  • Support the go-to-market plan with relevant product content creation
  • Measure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage
  • Manage the growing competitive market research initiatives to ensure a full understanding of the industry and create and communicate materials internally
  • Partner with Customer Marketing on strategies involving third-party reviewers, case studies and customer collateral in order to forge a greater understanding of our customers and create advocates of our product
  • Assist with writing/content requests as directed

    What You Bring
    • 4+ years of marketing experience, preferably in product or SaaS, where youve written messaging and positioning for new products and features
    • Passion about technology and making it work for people
    • The desire to own it and work on multiple tactics and projects independently
    • Willingness to openly discuss tactics and their effectiveness in order to make the best decisions for TechnologyAdvice and our customers
    • Comfortable working collaboratively and cross functionally while acting as a subject matter expert on specific features of the platform
    • Ability to pioneer your own solutions when faced with limited resources, technical challenges, and other roadblocks
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and add value immediately in a fast-paced environment
    • Detail-oriented with extremely good follow-up
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
