Position Summary / Why This Role Matters We are seeking a highly
capable, detail-driven Payroll Administrator to support accurate,
compliant, and efficient payroll administration across a
multi-state workforce. This role is critical to ensuring employees
are paid correctly and on time while helping the organization
maintain strong payroll controls, tax compliance, and audit
readiness. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on payroll
experience, strong working knowledge of multi-state wage and tax
requirements, and confidence navigating payroll issues with
precision and professionalism. This is an excellent opportunity for

process, but a core employee trust function. What You Will Do This
role is ideal for a payroll professional who is strong in systems,
disciplined in process, and comfortable owning the details that
keep payroll accurate and compliant. Administer payroll activities
for a multi-state employee population, helping ensure timely and
accurate payroll processing each cycle.Audit payroll data, review
payroll exception reports, and validate hours, earnings,
deductions, taxes, and other inputs prior to finalization.Maintain
payroll-related employee records, including new hires,
terminations, compensation changes, direct deposit updates, tax
elections, and benefit deductions.Review and support timekeeping,
attendance, absences, and leave-related pay impacts to ensure
payroll accuracy.Support compliance with federal, state, and local
payroll tax requirements, including tax setup, notices, agency
correspondence, and corrections.Administer wage garnishments, child
support orders, tax levies, and other required deductions in
accordance with legal requirements and deadlines.Assist with
quarter-end and year-end payroll activities, reconciliations,
audits, and reporting.Partner with HR, Finance, managers, and
employees to research and resolve payroll discrepancies, missing
time, pay questions, and off-cycle matters.Maintain organized
payroll records, documentation, and audit support files in
accordance with company practices and legal requirements.Support
payroll process improvement efforts, system updates, and ongoing
administration within ADP Workforce Now.Prepare payroll reports,
audits, and data requests as needed.Handle confidential employee
and compensation information with a high level of discretion and
professionalism. What We Are Looking For We are looking for a
payroll professional who combines technical expertise with sound
judgment, strong follow-through, and a high standard of accuracy.
Required 5 years of payroll administration experience.Direct
experience supporting multi-state payroll, payroll tax compliance,
garnishments, deductions, and wage-and-hour related payroll
practices.Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and strong
proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.Strong knowledge
of payroll controls, payroll documentation, and audit support
practices.Strong attention to detail, sound problem-solving skills,
and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced
environment.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise
discretion with sensitive employee information. Preferred
Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Human
Resources, or a related field.Experience in a multi-location,
service-based, or distributed workforce environment, including
quarter-end and year-end payroll support.Experience responding to
payroll tax notices, agency inquiries, or payroll-related
audits.Experience partnering cross-functionally with HR and Finance
on payroll reporting and process improvements. Success Measures
Payroll is processed accurately and on time each cycle.Multi-state
tax, garnishment, and payroll compliance requirements are handled
correctly and timely.Payroll discrepancies and exceptions are
identified and resolved quickly, and payroll records remain
audit-ready. Physical and Work Environment Requirements Primarily
office-based work environment with frequent use of a computer and
standard office equipment.Ability to sit or remain at a workstation
for extended periods during payroll processing cycles and to handle
detail-intensive work with a high degree of accuracy.Ability to
manage deadlines that may require focused attention during payroll
