Job Description:
Senior Accountant Our client, located in Smyrna, is seeking an
an experienced Accounting professional to assist with a project
focused on cleaning up historical QuickBooks data. The first week
will be 100% onsite for training then transition to 1 day in office
(Tuesdays) and 4 days remote at home. Key Responsibilities:
Transitioning from accrual to project-based accounting Re-reconcile
cash across accounts from Dec. 2023 - current Perform all balance
sheet reconciliations Revenue recognition alignment Manage revenue
recognition and reconciliation for subcontracted security
monitoring, retail sales, and product installation services,
including conversion to the completed contract accounting method.
Record appropriate adjustments in ledger Update leadership on
progress daily Qualifications: Proficient in QuickBooks Online and
Enterprise experience Intermediate Excel Required: Pivot Tables,
Vlookups, Etc.) Strong understanding of GAAP and project accounting
Proficient with Contracts/Revenue Received/Expenses Available for
an open-ended, high-impact contract assignment Be able to hit the
ground running with available resources Quick Learner and Great
Note Taker Additional Details: $40 - $53 per hour based on
experience 1 virtual interview with hiring manager required First
week in office for training 1 Day in office each week (Tuesdays), 4
days at home remote after training Candidate must be located in
Nashville/Greater Nashville Areas to be considered This is for a
