Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our organization on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reports, maintaining internal controls, and contributing to the strategic direction of the company’s finances while working independently. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and management reports. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting (as applicable). Research technical accounting issues for compliance. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and successful audits. Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments. Provide guidance to remote accounting teams across time zones.
