Job Description:
Our Loews Hotels & Co Home Office teams provide support to all
our properties throughout the United States and Canada. Our
talented teams provide guidance over strategic planning,
operations, revenue management, communications, marketing, finance,
human resources, and information technology. This position is based
at the Loews Hotels & Co Business Services Center in Franklin, TN.
**Please note that this is a fully remote role and location
flexibility is offered for this position.** PurposeServes as
commercial system support for all Commercial IT systems including
Sales, Marketing and Commercial Systems. Supports Senior Director
of Operations Systems and the Manager, IT Commercial, and provides
Commercial support to the Home Office IT team on Commercial
systems. Liaison for Home Office IT to ensure day to day functions
in all hotel Back of House Systems handled. Primary focus on system
maintenance, standardization and upkeep.Essential Functions and
Responsibilities
- Provides support to team members throughout the Loews Hotels
portfolio including Loews Hotels Help Desk and Financial Services
Center
- Handles all day to day administrative responsibilities for the
upkeep of these systems.
- Assists Senior Director of Operations System in non-technical
open tickets for system management.
- Supports field by developing training solutions and training
materials to aid in on boarding new team members and ensuring
consistent practices across the brand
- Contributes to and supports Back of House Systems best
practices.
- Assesses field requests for new reports, workflow changes and
code structure changes and provides recommendations to Senior
Director of Operations Systems for their implementation. Coordinate
all efforts where applicable with IT.
- Supports New Hotel builds and/or transitions for system setup,
training, etc.
- Provides reporting and analytics to support Operation Teams (BI
Dashboards & Reporting, Metrics, SLA's, Goals, On Demand
reports)
- Assists with the creation of Back of House Systems guidelines
and procedures (future enhancements/issue resolution)
- Researches new technology and functionality, as assigned, to
ensure Loews Hotels remains relevant
- Participates in special projects and task force on an as needed
basis
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all changes related to
Commercial Systems to include all legal and audit requirements
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards

- Manages the tasks necessary to ensure the availability and
security of the computerized operating systems necessary to operate
the Loews Hotels.
- Oversees the performance of sales, marketing and commercial
systems. Provide knowledgeable, courteous, helpful support for all
technology staff and operations management of these systems.
- Assists/Contributes with departmental Budgeting where
necessary.
- Manages multiple implementation projects necessary to balance
the internal and external resources required to maintain the
computerizes operating systems at Loews Hotels.
- Follows Change Management processes, reviews and verifies all
operations for accuracy and completeness
- Maintains records for all scheduled database changes, that
provide necessary audit trail for menu price changes and who
requested these changes
- Assists with the scheduling, coordinates and performs system
upgrades
- Notifies affected end users of any scheduled/unscheduled
downtime that will occur during the performance of
scheduled/emergency maintenance operations.
- Follows New Hire Training and ongoing Star Service Competency
program in accordance with hotel policy
- Required to attend all training sessions and meetings
- Assist in Operational planning functions
- Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times
- Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems
and/or unusual matters of significance
- Complies with required safety regulations and procedures
- Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and
work area
- Ensures adherence to all departmental and Loews Hotels
guidelines, policies and procedures
- Assists with the smooth, efficient, cost effective operation of
Technology Systems operation and Help Center departments
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards
- Required to attend all training sessions and meetings
- Complies with grooming standards
- Complies with company standards, policies & rules
- Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and
fellow employees
- Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel
standards
- Remains current with hotel information and
changesQualifications Required
- Thorough knowledge of Synxis, Delphi FDC, OPERA PMS, and other
Back of House Systems
- Working knowledge of budget development and adherence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with operating
platforms
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written

- Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and
holidays. May be required to work varying schedules to reflect
business needs of the hotelEducation
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in related area
- Associates degree acceptable with 5 or more years'
experienceExperience
- 5 or more years of experience in hotel back of house preferably
with Synxis, Delphi or other back of house systems.
- Experience with centralized operations and/or shared services
preferred
- Ability to document hardware, software configurations and O/S
version updates
- Ability to manage multiple projects toward timely
completion
- Effective organizational and communication skills
