We are looking for a dedicated Financial Analyst like you to be a
part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsThe Financial
Analyst assists the Manager with a combination of financial
reporting and operational accounting with a focus on accounting for
the shared service operations, including developing and maintaining
the reporting tools necessary to support financial operations
including development of reporting and tools to effectively measure
performance. The accountant will be responsible for tracking costs
within the shared services program, determining and keeping track
of intercompany allocations, administering the Capturis utility
payment and onboarding processes, creating purchase orders, and
ensure on-time payment to vendors. This position will oversee
capital transfer requests for any capital assets utilized within
shared services. This role will include analytics of the program to
help develop KPIs to better monitor performance and to ensure that
the costs are in line with prediction.The Financial Analyst will
work closely with the FacilitiGroup team and other key stakeholders
to research and answer financial and operational trends and results
and to administer and/or perform key internal control activities.
He/she also interprets, designs, and develops analysis, to solve
complex operational, financial and/or accounting problems relating
to facility management financial operations.Key
Responsibilities:
* Provides assistance with financial operations duties relating to
the financial reporting and the operational accounting of HCA's
Facility Management organization, including both Corporate
functions and field-based shared services organization* Supports
the Capturis utility payment process including working errors,
reviewing spend outliers, and maintaining sites utilizing the
system.Duties (included but not limited to):Shared Service
Accounting* Ensures an effective control system supporting
financial reporting operations, including but not limited to
completion of the monthly financial certification, post-closing
review guide, and journal entry checklist * Plays a role in the
development of month-end reports for internal and external use*
Keep track of monthly spend per shared service line of business*
Create and track purchase orders (POs) * Code credit card purchases
monthly to the correct shared service line and accounting category*
Keep track of expenses, outside of monthly allocations, that need
to be intercompany charged to facilities * Review and code monthly
invoices to ensure on-time payment to vendors* Process monthly
allocation for services rendered to facilities participating in
shared service program* Transfer capital assets purchased by HCA
Engineering Shared Services to appropriate facility or division
Shared Service Performance Analytics* Track ongoing cost vs.
budgeted cost of services rendered through shared service program *
Use analytical tools, identify savings opportunities including bulk
purchasing and/or standardization * Utilize PowerBI, provide
graphical display of budget spend and projections for each service
line * Monitor and maintain key operational performance measures by
ensuring commitments/investments/costs are supported by detailed
performance baselines and action plans* Takes ownership of the data
standardization process and develops, maintains, and automates
tools and systems to support department's monitoring and follow-up
activitiesOther* Strong attention to detail is required in order to
ensure the accuracy and completeness of data being reported*
Supports the Manager in acting as organizational subject matter
expert for Capturis* Communicate and collaborate effectively with
others from diverse backgrounds, skillsets, and talents, ranging
from other functional area's subject matter experts to executive
leadership* Promote efficiency and repeatability of reporting and
analytical tasks, including documentation and automation as
appropriate* Supports department in retrieving and organizing the
necessary data for reporting * Understands Facility Management
operations and technologies as well as company-wide technologies
currently in place* Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills &
Abilities* Strong Technical skills and knowledge of Business
Objects, Essbase, SQL, and/or relational databases* Independently
identify opportunities/problems, develop recommendations/solutions,

accountability, sets standards and responsibilities, leads through

presentation skills* Solid knowledge of all MS Office Products,
proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint* Understanding
of the HCA/HealthTrust IT systems and environment EDUCATION*
Bachelor's degree required (Accounting and/or Environmental
Sustainability emphasis preferred)EXPERIENCE* 2-4+ years'
experience in financial (reporting/operations) and/or environmental
sustainability EDUCATION * CPA license considered a plus but not
